As most of you know my dad was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. He recently began his chemo treatments and in three months will have a stem cell transplant. The doctor told him this is going to be a rough year, but once he gets through the treatment and healing there should be many good years to come. He has had to go onto disability at the beginning of treatment because the doctor said the type of work he does is just to risky. Disability office has said that it wouldn’t start until about 5 months, they are trying to put a rush on it but it still could be awhile . Well bills unfortunately don’t stop when You are out of work, and they are already seeing the impact of him being out of work. My step mom is trying to work as much as possible to make ends meet but I know they could really use some help. I know they hate asking for help, but they truly do need it. I’m setting up this go fund me to help them be able to pay their bills and mortgage while my dad is out of work , until disability kicks in. I know that times are hard for everyone right now in this economy but Any donation no matter how small would truly be a blessing to them.
