Support Dad's Battle Against Pancreatic Cancer
Donation protected
On March 18th, our world stopped. My dad had a CT that came back abnormal, so his doctor ordered an MRI. The MRI came back with possible adenocarcinoma in the pancreas, with possible metastasis to his liver. Since the MRI, we received his PET scan results, which only confirmed what the MRI showed, on top of it being in his left hip muscle. His pancreas biopsy was yesterday Thursday April 3, where pathology has confirmed it is in fact pancreatic cancer. Today April 4th - was his liver biopsy and port placement for chemo. We still don’t know those results but his oncology appointment is Tuesday April 8th.
- Knowing my dad is knowing a true family man , and provider. Unfortunately, the day before his first biopsy he received an email from his job saying his FMLA was denied. He has also fought for our country in the army all while being a father and husband. He has been my mom’s shelter for 45 years. He can no longer work and provide for his family, and it’s taken its toll. I don’t want my parents to stress over this as they have enough stress happening right now with everything happening so fast and the medical bills starting to already come in. Please, if you can donate, share and pray it would mean the world to my family.
