Cynthia Yerks is a loving wife, a true best friend, and someone who has always brought light and kindness to those around her. Recently, Cynthia faced an unimaginable challenge—while four months pregnant, she suffered a major stroke. This has turned her world upside down, and she now faces a long road to recovery while also preparing to welcome her baby.
Russell and Cynthia are fortunate to have good health insurance, but they will have needs that health insurance won’t cover. Cynthia could be in rehab for as long as 12 weeks and they might need help with after school care when Russell goes back to work. After school care cost about $250 a week. Let’s make that a short term goal so Russell and Cynthia have the support they need for Kaylee’s care or any other needs health insurance doesn’t cover.
The sudden medical emergency has brought on overwhelming expenses. I am reaching out to our community and beyond, asking for your kindness and generosity. Anything you can give will help Cynthia focus on healing and preparing for her baby’s arrival. Please find it in your heart to help—your support means more than words can express.
