Support Cynthia's Quill Renovation Efforts

Hello fellow Liberty lovers...

As most of you know, if you've visited the Quill within the past six months, I've put a lot of time, love, and money renovating the space – repairing, cleaning, adding beauty, function, and even a bit of whimsical fantasy.

Why? Well, because it needed it and because I believe in creating a space that’s welcoming, inspiring, and ready for both current members and new movers. The Quill is more than just a space. It's a community hub for Liberty-minded people. Now, it's a place you can feel good bringing your friends and family.

If you have enjoyed or benefited from the transformation, your donation is appreciated.

Thank You,
Cynthia

Some feedback from members:

Cynthia has been a real-life example of how members should take responsibility for their club - not waiting for someone else to do something, but, on her own dime and time improving it. The improvements are too many to mention, but the vestibule, window treatments, shelving, and bathrooms stand out. The club now feels much brighter and fresher, and more importantly, like someone cares about it. ~ LC

The refreshed ambience of the Quill is delightful without being excessively feminine. The old functionality has not been ruined, merely rendered attractive rather than boring. The attention to detail of the design is impressive. Imagine a bachelor apartment after a girlfriend moves in. ~ GM

I hadn't visited the Quill in a while and was surprised by its transformation: soft, fun lighting, a mesmerizing mural, bright colors, deep clean, and other loving touches transformed our nerdy bro hideout into a welcoming community oasis! And then I saw the bathrooms! OMG! Nice job, and thanks! :) ~ DP

I thought the renovations made the Quill feel cozier and more orderly. Somewhere you'd be happy to take a date, your parents, or your friends from out of town. The well organized library is inviting to browse. The decorations create a relaxing feeling, which invites the visitor to curl up in the corner with a book. ~ MT

The difference between the Quill of just a few months ago and now is truly night and day! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a brand new vestibule, followed by a revamped children's room flanked by a fully revamped seating area with brand new furniture. Arguably the piece de resistance of the Quill's remodeling is the library: completely remodeled, deep cleaned, and all media systematically organized and catalogued. It's incredible how far the Quill has come in such a short time! ~ JE

I want to thank Cynthia for the huge amount of work she has put into the Quill site, making it better for all of us. I understand she did this at her own expense while putting in six months of work. I want to be part of a high quality club, because I think of myself as a high quality human being. Thanks entirely to people like Cynthia, The Quill is transitioning into a respectable place for adults and minors, which is vital for a positive public impression of our freedom activist community. For the first time ever, I now feel confident hosting educational activities for minors at the Quill, which was one of my main reasons for joining. ~ RD

It's been so lovely having Market Days at the Quill after the renovations. Everything is so clean, cute, and comfortable. Such a welcoming vibe for all that come. Everyone has a place to hang - from kids to adults, even some quiet cozy corners to chat. The Ladies Brunch after Liberty Forum truly highlighted what a great space the Quill is now for those kinds of events. Fitting many people but also looking beautiful all dolled up with delicious trays of food and platters of pastries and fruits. I look forward to the next event!! ~ ES

Cynthia has done a great job making The Quill stand out and look unique, giving each door and each room its own unique character. For example the room where the kids hang out looks like an actual children’s room where before every room in The Quill looked the same.

Cynthia painted the bathroom to be cool looking so when one goes to the bathroom one feels like they are either on a spaceship or in a saloon. I love it. Now when I go to the Quill I look forward to taking a shit.

The books are arranged by category with clear labels to distinguish each section, making it much easier to find something.

Now the Quill looks like an actual cool clubhouse that is stylish and fun to hang out in thanks to Cynthia’s hard work.

Now I hope she focuses on the people next :) ~DR

I enjoyed the refresh of the library the most. I also thought the bathroom refresh was really creative and thoughtful. ~ KB

I have personally appreciated and enjoyed the many updates that have been done to the Quill. It has helped transform what was once not as welcoming of a space, into an area I feel better about having my family around. ~ PD

The rebranding of the Quill has been a huge success. The vibe of building has greatly improved. It feels much more comfortable. It felt like a men's dorm before. ~ CT
