It is with deep sadness that I share the sudden passing of my sister, Cynthia Wood. She leaves behind four children who now face an uncertain future without their mother—18-year-old twins, a 13-year-old son, and an 11-year-old daughter. Cynthia loved her children deeply, and they were always at the center of her life. While she faced personal struggles and challenges, her loss is deeply felt—especially by her children, who now need stability, care, and support more than ever.
The two 18-year-old twins are stepping into adulthood while also helping care for their younger siblings. The younger children are facing not only the heartbreak of losing their mother, but also the disruption of their daily lives and sense of security. My main focus is to help provide for these children during this incredibly difficult time.
Many people have asked how they can help. Our main focus is to help provide for her children during this incredible difficult time. Donations will go toward basic living needs such as food, clothing, and household expenses, stable housing and care, school and educational support, counseling and mental health services, and any additional needs that arise as they adjust to this new reality. This is about giving these children the support, stability, and opportunities they deserve moving forward.
If you would like to contribute, any amount helps. If not, sharing this fundraiser with others would mean so much to our family. We would greatly appreciate prayers during this time, and for these sweet children to be covered in God‘s love. Thank you for your compassion, support, and for helping us surround these children with care during such a painful time.
