A Heartfelt Request for Support During a Life-Challenging Time
On February 26, 2024, my life and the lives of my family members were irrevocably changed. I received a call from my father, telling me that my mother was experiencing a severe headache—a call that would forever alter our world. Shortly after, we learned that my mother had suffered the rupture of two brain aneurysms. In an instant, everything we knew about life, love, and family shifted.

My mother underwent brain surgery to address the ruptured aneurysms, one in each hemisphere of her brain. The left side was the most critical, but even after the surgery, the road to recovery has been long and uncertain. She has worked so hard to get better and was making progress until she was placed at a facility that has set her back significantly. Due to negligence, my mother developed MRSA and became terribly dehydrated, which has made her recovery even more difficult. This has been an incredibly painful setback in an already challenging journey, and it has placed an even heavier burden on our family.

She has now been transferred between multiple medical facilities in an attempt to help her heal, but we know that recovery from brain trauma and setbacks like these is never a straightforward process. My mother is fighting with everything she has to regain her strength and ability. But right now, my family and I are facing a harsh reality—this recovery requires immense resources, both physical and financial. Brain recovery is slow, and progress isn’t always visible, but we believe she can get better, and we are doing everything we can to support her.

This is where we need your help. We are reaching out for financial support to help cover her medical expenses, treatments, and the ongoing care she requires. The journey is far from over, and we cannot do it alone. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be a lifeline for us during this challenging time. If you are unable to donate, please help by sharing this message with others who might be able to.

Thank you for your love, your support, and your prayers. From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate any help you can provide as we continue this difficult journey.

With gratitude,

Cynthia Jimenez
