Support CUSD Families Facing Sudden Separation
Donation protected
As seen in the news, witnessed by many, and experienced directly by many of our CUSD community’s families, there is a significant increase in sudden and traumatic family separation at this time. Impacted families are suddenly left without their household’s primary (and in some cases, only) provider when a parent is taken away by force. Whether it’s the other parent, an older sibling, or another family member left to deal with such a crisis, support is needed immediately. Resources become limited and while many plan for such a nightmare, prepared resources dwindle.
That’s where you and I come in: together, to do all we can in supporting these families forced to navigate a scary, anxiety and panic-inducing emergency while working hard to keep their family together.
Please consider helping keep CUSD families together however you can. Let us rise together and show that in CUSD, we take care of one another. Because every student deserves to go to school without fear, grow, learn, and just be a kid.
Thank you for being part of our community.
