I am Cathy Herron, Curtis Herron's mom. As many of you know, Kristina had many complications during her pregnancy and was in and out of the hospital on several occasions. Due to these Complications on Monday , July 21st, she had an emergency C-section at 35 weeks. The baby had some complications but was sent home on Friday only to return to the ER early Saturday morning with severe Jaundice and low temperature. They suspected a infection but could not get IV started so baby Claira had to be flown to Batson in Jackson later that morning on the 26th. Many have reached out and wanted to help out with their expenses and loss of income, and we appreciate all the prayers and concerns. The doctors in Jackson have been amazing and are running many tests to get to the root of her problem, and they are all exhausted after two weeks of tests only for something else to go wrong.
