This Fiesta de San Salvador is hosted by the award-winning San Quentin News, a significant event that marks not only transfiguration of Jesus Christ, capital saint know by Salvadorean as the El Rey del Mundo (the nation's capital), but also highlights unity of the entire community. The event will honor indigenous performances,art, and cuisines highlighting rehabilitative success as well as sharing the distinctive flavors of this festival alongside other Centro American cultures, with the larger community of San Quentin and visiting.
