Hey y'all, thank you for taking the time out to even visit this page. My name is Crystal and I'd like to tell you my story.

In September 2024, I was dying from massive fibroids in my body. I had no idea they were there until it was almost too late. One fibroid was the size of a volleyball and the other the size of a softball. I also had a mass on each ovary. I couldn't eat, drink, or barely stand for days. After much deliberation, I flew out of Texas back home to California to have emergency surgery. This surgery was life-saving and by the grace of God, I survived.

My partner Marco and I gave up all we had to come to California for this surgery. We traded our world's possessions for my actual life. Because of this giant step, we have been homeless for over a year now. Staying from place to place, never truly having a place to call our own. We are a lesbian couple and this has added to our struggle. We have been discriminated against by family, so-called friends, and even shelters because of our sexuality. These times have been hard but we have not lost the faith. We are currently unhoused and facing street living! Please help us start our lives again.
