Hi, I’m Benjamin Long, founder of BuildWell Industries LLC in Kingsport, TN, and with my wife, we’re on a mission to restore hope for homeowners who can’t afford safe, livable homes. As a construction consultant, I’ve spent years fixing broken systems in an industry that too often leaves people burned by unreliable contractors. After chasing big contracts and finding emptiness, my faith in Christ led us to our true calling: helping the destitute. We’re starting with my mother-in-law, a stage 4 colon cancer survivor and widow, living in rural Virginia where power outages and harsh winters threaten her safety. My wife and I are leaving city life to make her home a sanctuary, launching a YouTube and TikTok channel to share every nail, board, and transformed life. Our $30,000 goal will fund critical repairs to give her comfort and security, kicking off a movement to help others nationwide. What We’re Raising Funds For

We’re raising $30,000 to transform my mother-in-law’s rural Virginia home into a safe, reliable haven after her battle with stage 4 colon cancer and the loss of her husband. This pilot project launches BuildWell Industries’ mission to help destitute homeowners, documented on our YouTube/TikTok channel for full transparency. Funds will cover:

$8,000: HVAC system to ensure warmth through harsh winters.

$8,500: Backup generator to maintain power during frequent outages.

$4,500: New driveway for safe, reliable access year-round.

$1,500: New gutters to protect against storm damage.

$2,000: New doors for security and accessibility.

$5,500: Electrical and plumbing repairs to fix outdated, unsafe systems. Of the total, 70% ($21,000) goes to materials and trusted local contractors hired at cost, 20% ($6,000) covers operations (travel, filming, permits), and 10% ($3,000) reserves for future projects.
