Support Creative Learning for Kids in Pavones, Costa Rica

A community of parents are building something special for the kids in Pavones - a rural town in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.

With a vision for creative, active and nature-based education for the youth of Pavones (including our own kids!), we are working together on a grassroots community movement.

Our goal is to create an educational center that is accessible for any kids in our community who want access to it.

We have support from the Madre Tierra Foundationthrough access to a beautiful biological reserve for free-roaming, nature-based learning.

But we can't do the rest of it without your help!

While the majority of the current students pays tuition to attend this program, the tuition alone does not cover the start-up cost of materials and teacher pay for the kind of experience we are developing.

In addition to our daily school program, we also offer after-school enrichment activities that include art, dance, martial arts, yoga, language learning, and more. If we can grow a scholarship fund that will cover tuition for both parts of our program for local children from our community, we will be able to offer the wide range of activities and unique experience of this school to more deserving students, integrate and diversify our program, and offer a space for more lingual and cultural exchange.

Please consider donating to help us establish and grow this vision. Your donation will go to buying materials for the school such as chairs, desks, books + learning supplies. Your donation will help pay for visiting teachers who bring unique experiences. And, your donation will contribute to the scholarship fund which will allow us to provide access to the programming at our center to the local youth in our community at no cost.
