Urgent Support for Family Reunification

OPIRG-Carleton is promoting this fundraiser to raise money for an OPIRG community member whose family urgently needs support.

This fundraiser will be supporting a member of their family who is at risk of eviction and trapped overseas without resources, documentation, or the ability to work due to discrimination, racism, islamophobia and the pandemic.

 

The funds will be used to cover legal fees, the temporary resident permit application, as well as daily living costs and outstanding rent.

 

Please share widely and donate to support this family that has been torn apart by various immigration and refugee processes that have been further delayed by the pandemic. We hope this fundraiser will help bring this family one step closer to reunifying.
