Support Cotaliya's IVF and Surrogacy Journey

Bonjour and Hello, I am Cotaliya! Thank you for taking the time to read and consider supporting our household. I know the beautiful power of community and that has brought me here! Me and my better half of 11 years have reached a point in our lives where we understand how precious life is and after losing one too many family members, parents, and friends we cannot bear another loss without the opportunity of sharing a child with the ones we love. Currently, we have two cats Basil and Sage, and one dog Dela and we are excited about extending our family with our new baby.

Due to not having the physical ability to have children we have spent years and countless hours leading to this point of IVF + SURROGACY. No matter the household you are from or your relationship you may find yourself in infertility and the challenges of having children have touched us all or at least someone we know.

We are business owners, self-employed as well as contracted through other jobs. If you own a business you can testify that it isn't easy at all nor does it equate to wealth or the financial ability to finance IVF + SURROGACY. We are not solely depending on community funding as I will be attending school to get certified in trades and skills I already possess to assist this journey as well. We are hard workers, incredibly kind and giving, and hopeful that all we have done may be reflected in your support and the birth of a healthy child.

This journey is a heavy investment but let's be honest love is always a heavy investment and risk! Your support would be assisting us in our surrogacy specifically which ranges from $140k-$180K. So to be clear our goal doesn't cover the journey but I am willing to put in the work to see this journey through. With your support I may have the opportunity to live a dream I have always desired.

Here are some breakdowns of Estimated Costs:

Agency:$60k-$80k

Pre-Pregnancy (Psych Evaluations, Background Checks, Insurance Verification, Med Records..etc): $3k-$4k

Pregnancy Payments to Surrogate: $35k-$90k

Addition Expected Cost: $2k-$3k

Protective Policies: $2k-$3k

Medical Insurance: $10k-$40k

Now that we have decided upon an agency we have to move fast because egg donors and surrogates go fast. Ideally, We'd like to wrap this GoFundMe Up on August 1st!
