Hi my name is Gigi and my dear friends and co workers Cory and Joelle have experienced a life-altering tragedy.

On April 14, while they were at work, there was a freak electrical fire in their apartment. While their personal items have been lost that is not even the most devastating part of it. Not only are they now displaced- but their dog and cat did not survive.

You cannot help but love them immediately, they’ve likely made you laugh til you cried or shown up for you in time of need. He’s always the first to cook for others in his off time whether it is Thanksgiving/ Friendsgiving, weeknight dinner, or a hot dog social. Cory and Joelle always have had room at the table for anyone needing a place to be. They both make everyone around them feel special. They’re the type of people that you can just be authentically yourself around. Which makes what they’re going through so unfair and cruel.

If you’ve ever had a meal at The Fly Trap and loved it Cory has likely cooked it for you. I can’t stress enough how loved they are by their friends and co workers.
