Help Corey & Jenny Stay Together Through This Fight ❤️

Hello, my name is Corey.

On January 28th, my life changed in an instant. My girlfriend Jenny—my partner of 27 years—suffered a major brain bleed. I almost lost her that day. By some miracle, the surgeon was able to save her life… but our journey is far from over.

Jenny is still fighting every single day.

She is awake now and trying so hard to speak, but she has a long road ahead. She currently cannot move the left side of her body—only small movements in her fingers and toes. After being discharged to a nursing facility, she was rushed back to the hospital with pneumonia and sepsis. Now she’s battling those, too.

Soon, she will need another surgery to place a shunt to drain fluid from her brain.

Despite everything, she is still here. Still fighting. And I refuse to give up on her.

But while Jenny is fighting for her life… I’m fighting to keep ours together.

I’ve been by her side through all of this, and with me being the only one handling our finances, I’m now facing the loss of our home of 11 years. Our landlord is selling, and I simply cannot afford a new place or even storage on my own right now.

I feel like everything we built together is slipping away at the same time she needs me the most.

People have told me to focus on myself—but Jenny is my life. If she improves, if she gets the chance to come home, I want her to still have a home… with me.

I’m trying to find a small, affordable place in Johnson City—somewhere wheelchair accessible for her future needs, somewhere that will allow us to stay together. I also have my birds—my babies—who have been my comfort through all of this. They are the only thing keeping me from feeling completely alone, and I hope to keep them with me too.

Right now, I just need help getting through this impossible time.
