Help Us Launch a New Boy Scout Troop in Cordova!
We're thrilled to announce the formation of a brand new Boy Scout troop right here in Cordova! With over 25 eager young boys signed up and an incredible team of 20+ registered adult volunteers, we're ready to embark on a journey of Scouting adventures.
Families have stepped up tremendously, contributing over $220 in registration fees. However, these funds are solely dedicated to Boy Scouts of America and Great Alaska Council dues. To truly get our troop off the ground, we need your help with some essential seed money.
What We Need:
- Scout manuals and handbooks for all our Scouts.
- Basic camping gear like tents, first-aid kits, and cooking supplies.
- Resources to develop sustainable fundraising programs so we can become self-sufficient in the future.
Your Impact:
Your contribution will directly impact over 25 young boys in Cordova, helping them develop the values of trustworthiness, loyalty, helpfulness, friendliness, courtesy, kindness, obedience, cheerfulness, thriftiness, bravery, cleanliness, and reverence.
