On September 18, 2026, our family’s world changed in an instant. Christopher Pereira lost his life after he was struck by a negligent driver in an SUV while on his motorcycle. He leaves behind his two incredible children, Cora (15) and Evan (17). No words can adequately describe the heartbreak of losing a father so suddenly, especially at an age when there are still so many milestones, celebrations, and moments they should have had the chance to share with him.

Cora and Evan are both in high school with bright, college-bound futures ahead of them. In the midst of devastating grief, they are now facing a future that looks very different from the one they knew just days ago. They lost their dad and provider, and everything has changed emotionally and practically.

We are creating this fundraiser to help provide the stability Chris would have wanted for his children. They were everything to him, and he worked tirelessly so they could thrive. The funds will go toward housing, education, healthcare, and the everyday living expenses that will continue as they find their footing in a life none of us expected.
