Help Cooper Chase His Hockey Dreams!

When Cooper first heard about the DC Selects, he doubted himself. Could he compete at such a high level? But with determination and relentless effort over two seasons in House League, Cooper proved to himself—and everyone else—that he belongs. Now, he’s thrilled to have earned a spot on the 14U A team for the DC Selects, where the talent is truly exceptional (some of these players have slapshots reaching 90 mph!).

This May and June, Cooper will embark on his first-ever travel hockey experience, competing in two tournaments: one in Canada and another in Rhode Island. These events are incredible opportunities for him to grow as a player, build lifelong friendships, and represent his team on an international stage.

We are raising funds to help cover the costs associated with these tournaments, including:

• Travel expenses (gas, food, hotel stays, passports)

• Tournament fees and team uniforms

• Goalie gear upgrades (as goalie equipment is particularly expensive—even when purchased secondhand)

• Meals and incidental costs during the trips

As parents, we’ve always hesitated about travel hockey due to its financial demands, but seeing Cooper’s passion and dedication has inspired us to take this leap. We’re asking for your support to make his dream a reality. Every contribution—big or small—will go directly toward ensuring Cooper can focus on playing his best without worrying about the costs.
