The Davis Ditch is an inclusive skateboard spot that builds community, forms friendships, and serves as an outlet for self-expression and creative skateboarding. Now, with your generosity, Davis Ditch Local Skateboarders will be working to make the spot even more accessible and enjoyable for all by constructing an additional concrete transition with bowled corners and pool coping.

We have a unique opportunity to partner with Kanfoush Concrete Designs, an acclaimed skateboarder-owned company that was hired by the City of San Francisco to build a skatepark at the historic United Nations Plaza.

This is a sanctioned build by the property owner, so we have the opportunity to pour a bowled wall that will be enjoyed for many years to come. A professional build will transform The Davis Ditch from a mellow banked curb spot into an insanely fun capsule with speed lines and shreddable transitions. Once the ditch is enhanced, it will be a shining gem of a location for skateboarding to be enjoyed by all ages and abilities.

Plans call for a 4’ tall quarter pipe with bowled corners and a 3’ platform that flows into both sides of the ditch. There will be pool coping and a small channel in the center of the wall, which allows water to pass through and retain its functionality during heavy rains.

Please join our construction effort by making a monetary contribution to the build. Kanfoush Concrete Designs is flexible to lowering their fee based on the amount of materials and labor that we can donate toward the effort. If you have work experience with concrete and/or a lead for some extra materials to donate (rebar, pool coping, cement, ply, fill) please contact me by email.
