Every day on Whidbey Island, families are struggling — with stress, trauma, co-parenting conflict, and not knowing where to turn. Positively Linked has been quietly showing up for those families since 2014.

We are a Mentor Washington accredited nonprofit offering trauma-informed wellness programming rooted in our 8 Pillars of Wellness framework — a whole-body approach that places nervous system regulation at its core. When families learn to regulate their nervous systems, everything changes: how they communicate, how they parent, and how they show up for their kids.

Our programs and events include:

Parenting support for families navigating the everyday challenges of raising children in a stressful world

Co-parenting education for families moving through separation, divorce, and high-conflict situations — helping parents put their kids first even when it's hard

Connect & Thrive, our Mentor Washington accredited mentoring program for youth ages 12–17, funded through the Washington Health Care Authority, focused on substance abuse prevention through connection and nervous system health

The Annual Community Cares Wellness Festival, bringing our island community together each year around health, healing, and connection

For ten years we've done this work out of borrowed and rented spaces. Now we have the chance to change that.

We've identified a permanent home in Oak Harbor — a historic space where our programs can grow roots and serve this community long-term. We're raising $80,000 to secure this space and equip it so families and mentors and mentees have a safe space to meet.

Your gift keeps a mentoring program running. It keeps a family together. It keeps a kid on the right path.

We already have funding commitments from the Washington Health Care Authority through the Oak Harbor Youth Coalition. What we need now is our community to help close the gap.

Will you help us build something lasting?
