Hi, my name is Ciaran. This GoFundMe isn’t for me!! I’m fundraising for 3 incredible communities…

I’m a PE teacher and cricket coach from Kent, currently undergoing treatment for Stage 4 Hodgkin Lymphoma.

The last few months have turned my life upside down. But through it all, I’ve been overwhelmed by the support, kindness and motivation I’ve received from so many incredible people and communities around me.

This journey hasn’t felt like my battle with cancer, it’s felt like many, many people have fought alongside me. Every message, every show of support, every small act has pushed me to keep fighting and grafting.

Now I want to give something back to 3 big communities.

This GoFundMe isn’t for me. Every penny raised will be split three ways between the communities that have stood by me the most:

• High Halstow Cricket Club – where I’ve coached, played, and been a part of memorises that will last a lifetime.

• The Hundred of Hoo Academy PE Department – where I’ve taught, lead, and been supported by an incredible team of both staff and pupils.

• Macmillan Cancer Support – whose nurses and services have guided me and my family through this journey.

All three of these organisations have been and will continue to be pillars of strength for me, and for countless others.

By donating, you’re not only helping me thank them for what they’ve done, but you’re also making a real difference to kids, families, and patients who will benefit from their work long after my treatment ends.
