Collin Metzger is working toward his Eagle Scout rank by giving back to the Cornerstone Church in Milton, VT, the Charter Organization for Troop 631. For years, the church has supported the troop by providing meeting space, hosting events, and generously donating to troop fundraisers. Their ongoing support has made a lasting impact on countless scouts and their families in the Milton community.
For his Eagle Scout project, Collin is creating a new wooden sign for the church. The sign will feature the church’s logo and serve as a welcoming symbol for both the congregation and the wider community. Collin is leading the project himself, with guidance from Bill Kaigle, a local business owner and Scout Leader. This project is not only a way for Collin to show his gratitude, but also to leave a lasting mark that honors the partnership between Troop 631 and Cornerstone Church.
Funds raised will go directly toward the materials and installation costs for the high-quality, carved wooden sign. The craftsmanship and durability of the sign are important, but they also add to the expense. Every contribution will help Collin complete this meaningful project and give back to a community that has given so much to him and his fellow scouts.
