My name is Gretchen Kline-Dowling. I have come to know a homeless couple over the past nine months. Their names are Colin and Jazz. It started out just giving some money, meeting their dog, and talking with them. Over time I have developed a friendship with the couple.

They used to do drugs, but have been clean for 2.5 years. I recently started taking them to the methadone clinic to help keep them clean. I am so happy to do this and proud of their commitment to stay off of the drugs.

I have been helping them as much as possible buying a cooler, ice, soda, food, etc. I’m coming to the community to request help for a tent, generator, something to sit on, as well as food, drinks, and ice. Colin gave up the bottle and drinks soda now.
