As some of you may know, our beloved Coach Iman is in the process of getting a new, larger, fully equipped, gym room ready for our kids. Not only will our kids get to have PE and Jiujitsu in this awesome new gym room during Compass, but it will also be used as Coach Iman’s own gym, Capital MMA & Elite Fitness Herndon, in the evening. Here, she will offer classes to adults and children. This will be the 8th affiliate location, and Coach Iman has been part of Capital for over 22 years. Iman has been working hard to open her doors to the community, purchasing essential items like mats and equipment to create a welcoming space. This fundraiser is to support Iman while she navigates the final steps of getting the business up and running, and will help her manage personal expenses, while she continues working through the remaining red tape, towards her goal of creating a new gym space for our kids. If your kids have taken either Iman’s PE class, or jiujitsu, you know just how amazing of a coach she is. Iman’s class is an incredibly positive and healthy environment, where I have watched my son’s confidence grow, over the years, and is one of reasons why we love Compass so much. I value her ability to encourage her students to set and reach personal fitness and health goals, while creating a sense of community and support for one another, in her class. She consistently shows respect and love for her students, while also receiving the respect and love back from them. And more than anything, the kids have FUN during their workouts.
