Support Clifton Lawley in NYC Marathon for VTMF

Hello and happy Spring! My name is Clifton Lawley and I am a chef/runner in NYC. I'm so excited to be running my first TCS New York City Marathon this November! I am grateful to have been offered a spot with the team representing the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation.

I want to surpass the minimum fundraising goal for this event and aim to hit $5k by July! Please support in any amount that may fit into your budget. VTMF is a charity focused on promoting gender equality and combating violence against women. The foundation took shape after the senseless murder of 27-year-old Vanessa Marcotte in 2016. Vanessa was out for a run near her family's home in Massachusetts when a man followed her, assaulted her, and ultimately took her life. The greater tragedy is that Vanessa's story is not unique, and that women are constantly in danger of predatory and violent behavior. Let's come together to make the world a safer place for women to exist and thrive.
