Hi everyone! My name is Claire and I am a trans woman currently living and working in New England.

I currently have top surgery scheduled for the end of the year, and while I do have decent health insurance, I will still be out of work for roughly a month, if not longer, depending on what my surgeon says/recommends. While I have tried to put some money away for the recovery period, I'm nowhere near where I need to be to cover a month or more of missed pay.

I'm starting this GoFundMe as a way to help cover monthly payments, such as rent and utilities, so I can focus on recovering and not push myself into going back to work before I'm ready. I know this is a difficult time for many right now, so any support is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
