On December 13, 2024, my brother, Christopher Scott Aldred's life changed forever. He was in a horrific accident that nearly claimed his life. He spent 195 days in hospitals and rehabilitation centers. He had so many things wrong with him I can't even remember all of them. He had his spleen removed, a stent in his aorta, multiple broken bones, lacerations on his heart, and he had to be on a breathing machine because his lungs were so damaged from the impact. He had a heart attack and several strokes. But what has put him permanently in a wheelchair was the spinal cord stroke that occurred while in the hospital. As of now, he has use of his right arm and not much else. He is home and spends most of his days in a hospital bed. He has a motorized wheelchair that insurance paid for. He spent his savings on a wheelchair-accessible van that should not have been sold to him because the frame was rusted and isn't drivable. But it was bought as is, and we can't do anything about it now.

I'm starting this GoFundMe to try and raise money to get him another wheelchair-accessible vehicle so he can get out of his house and try to enjoy the life that he fought to have. Please give if you can, and if you can't, please share this post so that others can see it and hopefully we can raise enough money to help my brother out.
