Support Christopher's ICU Recovery Journey

Christopher Horger, beloved Son, Grandson, Nephew, Cousin, and Friend, was critically injured in a recent car accident on the morning of Wednesday, August 7th. The Jaws of Life and the good people of the Argyle Fire Department rescued him and he was airlifted to Covenant Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. He has remained in the ICU since. His recovery has unfolded with challenges and many blessings. His family has surrounded him daily and his Mother, Shelly Horger, is a constant source of strength for him - ever vigil at his side. This GoFundMe is available for those who feel compelled to support Christopher and his Mother as they continue to navigate his healing journey in the ICU and beyond. Christopher remains in the ICU and there is currently no timeline for his recovery. His medical providers continue to address medical concerns as they rise day by day.

While Christopher is blessed with insurance, the costs of providing what is needed during and after sudden and emergent situations can create financial burdens well beyond the scope of insurance plans. Any monetary contributions through this platform will go directly to support Christopher's bills (medical and personal) as he recovers and to his Mother, Shelly, to help her cover her expenses so she can stay by his side where she is needed most. Shelly currently resides in the Hospitality House at Covenant Hospital and has not been able to return to her home or work. She is essential to Christopher's care and is at the hospital tending to medical decisions and supporting her son during the times he is brought out of sedation.
