Support Christopher's Eagle Project for King of Glory

Thank you to everyone who donated to my Eagle project! After calculating my expenses, I have raised just enough to cover my costs. I can't thank you enough!

My name is Christopher. I am raising funds for my Eagle project in Williamsburg, Virginia. My beneficiary organization is King of Glory Lutheran Church (KOG) and I will expand the sidewalk areas of a storage shed behind the church. All funds raised will be used for my project. If there are excess funds, they will be donated to the church.

KOG serves 1,500 members with more than 600 people attending services on Sunday. The church also includes a preschool. Since 1999, the King of Glory School has been providing an opportunity for preschool children to experience their first step away from home in a loving, supportive, Christian atmosphere.

During the pandemic, the church completed an expansion that doubled the size of the worship space and installed several large parking lots. Along the back side of the property adjacent to the main parking lot is a storage garage. During construction for the expansion, a paved area was installed that leads up to the main garage door and two small concrete pads were installed at the side doors.

For my project, I will extend the concrete walking area from the garage driveway to the side doors to provide stable, solid footing for those who need access to the side doors.
