Hi, my name is Iulianna and I'm raising funds for the greater good for one of my friends’s Christmas charity for kids and teens with special needs in Kazahkstan.

Since 2017, Young Special Volunteer Organization has been creating a safe and joyful space for teenagers with special needs in Kazakhstan.

Every week, Young Special gather to play games, make art and simply share life together. For them, these teens are not defined by their diagnoses like autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, hearing or vision impairments but by their personalities, dreams, and the joy they bring to the world.

During the pandemic, when they couldn’t meet in person, they started a new tradition: Advent Calendars — 25 small gifts that our special friends open each day from December 1 to 25.

The idea quickly became a symbol of love and connection.

• 2020 — 25 calendars

• 2021 — 50 calendars

• 2022 — 60 calendars

• 2023 — 80 calendars

• 2024 — 100 calendars

• 2025 goal — 110 Advent Calendars for 110 special teens and their families.

Each calendar is personally prepared by our volunteers and delivered with warmth and care. On December 1, we host a big gathering where we give out the gifts, take photos, and celebrate together. For those who can’t attend, volunteers deliver calendars to their homes.

On December 25 inside the final gift each teen finds a personal invitation to our big Christmas Celebration, where we laugh, dance, exchange gifts, and remind each other that they are deeply valued and loved.
