Support Christi's Fight for Parker's Future

My friend, Christi, is one of the most loving, giving, and caring people on this planet. I’ve been friends with her for almost 20 years, and she’s one of the best people you will ever meet!

Recently, she has come to face some hard times. Last year, she took over care of her precious nephew, Parker. Parker is 7, and he’s a sweet, loving, spunky little jokester. In order to continue to care for Parker and give him the wonderful home that he needs, she needs legal representation. As we all know, legal representation is NOT cheap.

Please help my dear friend continue to provide a loving home for this precious boy!

I asked Christi to write a little snippet for this, and here’s what she had to say…

“Hi, my name is Christi, and I’m humbly reaching out for help during the most critical and emotional time of my life.

Sixteen months ago, my 6-year-old nephew came to live with me under heartbreaking circumstances. I won't share every detail out of respect for his privacy, but what I can say is this: he came from a situation no child should ever have to endure. A child should be able to safely just be a child. Since he’s been with me, he’s started to sleep through the night now without night terrors. He’s learning to trust. He’s thriving in school and finally feeling safe.

I’ve poured everything I have—emotionally, physically, and financially—into being his anchor. I didn’t expect to be in this role, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. He calls me Auntie but asks to call me 'mama,' and every time I hear it, I know I’m exactly where I need to be.

To continue to protect him, I urgently need legal representation. A family law attorney with experience in custody and child welfare cases will help me secure permanent custody and ensure NO one can place him back into danger. Unfortunately, attorneys are expensive, and doing everything I can, this is more than I can manage alone.

That’s why I’m asking—no, pleading—for your help. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to keeping him safe, stable, and loved. Funds will go directly to cover attorney fees, court costs, and any related expenses required to fight for his future.
