Our MIT colleague Christine Chao is a project manager in IS&T. She's in a difficult situation and would benefit from the support of her friends and colleagues at MIT.

Last week, the apartment building Christine lives in suffered a major fire, which has destroyed the building (West 107th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, NYC). Christine and her roommate were not harmed in the fire, which is the good news! However, currently, Christine is without a place to live, and all of her possessions are either destroyed or trapped in the ruined building. Christine hopes to salvage some personal possessions from the building, but that's unclear.

Right now, Christine needs to find a new apartment and start over. This GoFundMe is to help Christine get a new apartment and furnishings, etc.
