“When life gives you lemons you make lemonade.”

At least that’s what I keep telling myself.

Hi. I’m Christina and this is my family: my children, Lilly, Edward, Thomas, Jupiter, and Julian.

We have been through a lot in the last almost 3 years. We lost my husband, my kids' dad, in July 2022. We were asked to leave our rental home in 2023 due to lease issues revolving around my husband’s death. In 2024, I suffered a clavicle fracture, many illnesses, and many job changes due to being a single parent of 5 children.

However, at the end of the day, we are thankful and blessed.

I developed an infection in my abdomen that is requiring surgery. This will have me out of commission and unable to provide for my children for 4-6 weeks. I'm asking my family and my friends to help ease this financial burden. I do not have medical insurance, and although I do not know what this surgery will cost, it is necessary.
