Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Christie (Gibbs) Nicholls passing after a courageous battle with colon cancer on July 21, 2025. Christie was a beacon of love, faith, and strength, leaving behind a legacy that will forever inspire us. There were two specific Bible verses that she would quote in uncertain times that would encourage her. Romans 12:12 says, "Be Joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." Joshua 1:9 says "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord God will be with you wherever you go." She is survived by her devoted husband, five adult children, and twelve cherished grandchildren, all of whom were the heart of her world.

As we come together to honor Christie’s beautiful life, we are reaching out to ask for your support in giving her the farewell she deserves. We have created this fundraiser to help cover the costs of her funeral, ensuring her family can focus on healing and celebrating her incredible spirit without the burden of financial stress.
