Support Chris Randolph's Cancer Treatment Journey

My name is Chris Randolph and I am raising funds for cancer tumor removal and treatment. Over the last several months, it has been a struggle to get a doctor to help me with this because of my insurance. This is an insurance I pay for every month, and unfortunately, the plan that I am on can't be trusted to pay their claims, as a provider told me. So, I am having to ask for help. This is very humbling to have to ask for help, and if you can give to this, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, I understand. Your prayers during this time are greatly appreciated as my faith is in Jesus, and he has been there for me every step of the way. Victory in Jesus!

I am also, at this time, having to step up to pay for part of my mom's memory care assisted living, which is expensive. My mom has been with us for 19 years, and the last couple of years have gotten to the point where my wife and I can't take care of her with what she needs. Because of that, it has been a financial strain for us over the last 8 months since she has been living there. One thing is for sure: God has always provided.

The surgery to have the tumor removed from my head is scheduled for Friday, April 25th. The doctor is trying to go through insurance, but I received a phone call this morning that I might have to pay cash upfront. So, this is a rough estimate, give or take, of what everything is going to cost with up to 2 days being in the hospital since this is surgery on my head. They are going to try and work with me on a payment plan, but that also depends on what the hospital says. The doctor works with quite a few hospitals and is hopefully going to be able to locate one that will accept my insurance. I will also be going through radiation treatments afterward, and how many I go through depends on testing that will be done after surgery and the results from that testing.

I just wanted you to know I changed the goal from $21,000 to $95.000 as I received a text confirmation confirming the total amount for hospital, anesthesia and the Doctor's fee as well. I am needing to pay $55.000 up front for them to do this surgery. I will also be on the phone with United Healthcare to see why hospitals are no longer accepting my insurance plan or will not accept my insurance. The majority of the cost here is the hospital. If anything changes I will let you know and thank you again.
