Help our friend, teacher, and neighbor

Hello, my name is Craig Joseph. I’m starting a GoFundMe for Chris Michalek, whom everyone in Franklin knows as a friend to the community. This year and last were so devastating to someone who only wants to better his community through art and teaching art.

Chris is a brilliant glass artist whose business that brings the community together at Gardens and Glass is suffering because of unforeseen medical emergencies.

Chris is one of those purely decent people who has always thought of others before himself. He opens up his shop for free to musical artists, allowing people to come enjoy new music and relax in a peaceful environment, to also meet and make new friends. He’s also a hero for animal rescue and has created fundraisers for people in need. Well, he is in need now. His car accident and medical needs have set him back to where he will lose all he worked for to build up the community.

He holds classes that teach people how to create art with glass, not only teaching a skill but having a great time discovering themselves in the process. He needs to get back to the place where he can teach, heal, and do the work he was meant to do: create beautiful things and help Sussex be its best. I can list all the calamities that have happened, but that would take too long. Please help this friend of the community with the medical attention he still needs and rescue his business so that a better Sussex County is here for tomorrow.
