Support Children's Wisconsin Complex Care Program
Donation protected
My name is Sam Cascella, and I am a Senior at Marquette University studying Biomedical Engineering. As a senior, I have the privilege of working on a year-long design project in collaboration with Children's Wisconsin, a children's hospital located in Milwaukee, alongside a team of fellow engineering and design students. Specifically, we are working in close collaboration with the Complex Care Program, a specialty care program that helps coordinate medical and non-medical services for children with medical complexities due to multiple chronic conditions. We hope to create a product that will help patients with swallowing difficulties safely deliver fluid to their mouths without the risk of that fluid being inhaled into their lungs, known as aspiration.
In an effort to create an impact larger than our design project, we are currently raising money to purchase donations to be delivered to the Complex Care Program. The money that is raised will be used to purchase items such as crafts/craft supplies, books, and adaptive/sensory toys that the children can play with when they are in the hospital or have loved ones visiting. We will be accepting donations until the end of March.
Your generosity in donating will make a great impact on these children enrolled in the Complex Care Program! Donations of all sizes are accepted, big or small, as we continue to bring happiness to the children of Children's Wisconsin. Thank you for your help and kindness.
