The Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento (CRH) is attempting to raise $1.5 million to ensure their ability to provide life-changing care to children, teens, and families in crisis. Their dedicated team delivers individualized, compassionate care to youth across the Sacramento region who have experienced abuse, neglect, or other adverse circumstances – providing a lifeline for children who have nowhere else to go.
At just 14, Jasmine arrived at CRH after years of instability and trauma. She had bounced between multiple foster homes and struggled with severe anxiety. At CRH, she was met with warmth, routine, and the patience she had never known. Through specialized therapy, daily support from her youth counselor, and art-based healing workshops, Jasmine began to feel safe.
After six months, she was successfully reunited with her aunt and now attends school regularly—and dreams of becoming a social worker. She says “CRH gave me more than shelter—they gave me a voice, and people who listened.”
