There’s terrible things happening in our world today; the blame gets shifted around constantly for why that is. Why do people insist on being so cruel? Why are adults so bitter, so jaded? Could it be because of uneasy childhoods: trauma formed during adolescence in the home?

Studies show a powerful connection between childhood trauma and anger in adulthood; they show relations between severe childhood trauma and adult incarceration.

As high schoolers, we saw this and decided then the best investment for our society was to help protect our youth before it ever reaches this stage. Using the arts and social media, we advocate for child abuse prevention and through arts focused fundraisers, we raise money for domestic violence/ child abuse shelters and foster care homes.
