Support the Ofodile Family in Memory of Olisa

Dear Friends and Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Olisa Michael Ofodile on March 19, 2025 after a courageous battle with terminal cancer (synovial sarcoma). Olisa was a devoted husband to our sister Chichi, and a loving father to their three young children—Jaxon (8), Micah (6), and Gigi (15 months). He was a cherished son to Mrs. Kate Ofodile, a wonderful brother to his siblings Tony and Onyeka and a beloved son-in-law to the Nwosu family, a cherished cousin, nephew, and friend.

Olisa was loved by all who came in contact with him. Olisa was truly one of a kind. His presence was a gift to everyone who knew him—his warmth, charisma, humor, dance moves and infectious laughter could light up any room. Whether making silly faces to bring a smile to his children’s faces or sharing a funny story to brighten someone’s day, or his incredible dancing skills, his fun-loving spirit was unmatched. He had an incredible ability to make everyone feel special and loved, and his kindness left a lasting impact on so many. Though his time with us was far too short, Olisa’s legacy of love, joy, dancing and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew him—especially in the lives of his wife - Chichi, their children, his mother, siblings, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

As his family navigates this unimaginable loss, we want to ensure they have the support they need during this difficult time.
