Support Chen and Her Children After Tragic Loss

Hello community,

My name is Jenn and I am trying to raise funds for my mother’s godson's family, that unfortunately suffered a horrific loss.

Cyrus was a devoted son, caring husband, and doting father who was taken from his pregnant wife and 4-year-old son last month due to cancer. He was not even 50 years old when he passed of thymic cancer.

Cyrus had such a kind soul and was also a devoted son who took care of his disabled mother throughout his whole life. I grew up with him, and the words that come to mind when I think of him are that he was such a cool, gentle guy with a heart of gold.

His wife, Chen, was almost 9 months pregnant when he passed and has tried to remain strong for her son and unborn daughter.

I implore you all during this holiday season to try to help this young family.

The funds would help Chen navigate her new role as a single mother to two children. She was a stay-at-home mom before his death, so she will have to try to navigate entering the workforce as well.

Chen is currently taking classes to hone her English skills and just gave birth to her daughter a few weeks ago.
