Hello everyone, my name is Chelsea. To many of you, you may not know me. My kids and I have been through hardships. Just within the last few months, after being in a car for real, we finally got our place with the help of Anne & Changes of Lives. Now, we are able to keep shelter over our heads and food in our stomachs over time. Life is just now starting to actually click together for us and fall into place as well.

There are still moments I struggle and am in need, but as a mother, we all know we do everything and anything for our kids. Now, not that this isn’t too important, and I'd rather mention now if I were to even get my goal, I’d probably go hide in a hole and cry. My goal is just an idea of what really would help out, but my birthday is August 5th. For those that aren’t aware, I am a mother of 4. I have three boys and a little girl. My boys are 9, 5, and 3, and my little girl is 10 months old.

I'm making this GoFundMe because it’s the actual only way I could possibly share my story. But to not make this so long, I’m trying to do something with my kids for my birthday on August 5th. And yeah, it isn’t the most important thing someone could support, but I honestly can’t remember the last time I’ve brought myself anything—clothes, shoes, even the little things. I’m just trying to do all I can, and I know doing the smallest thing would make them happy, but I’m also just trying to play catch up with life. We barely have much. The kids' bed just broke, my food stamps were cut, and life just feels like it’s hitting me in the back of the head.

Now, I’m only mentioning because if I do get anything over being able to actually take them out somewhere, it will be used as goodwill. I’m just a young mother trying to make things possible, make things have a way. I’m just in need of a push if that makes sense. My heart is whole. My mom’s house, where my siblings are, also struggles. My brother got depressed recently because my sister got happy she ate. And yes, my oldest does now care for my mother’s kids that aren’t over the age of 18 and makes sure they’re fed. It just isn’t as much as they’d want to be, but everyone gets what they get, you know? She’s also still fighting for rights for the kids because of the costs and expenses.
