It is with a heavy heart I ask that you put my lil brother, my cousin and his wife, 4 kids in your prayers. On the early morning of May 16th, 2025, Edilberto "Chavo" Sitiriche Aponte had a serious motorcycle accident in which he suffered a catastrophic unrecoverable brain damage. He was wearing a (1/2) helmet but the nature of the impact was such that his quality of life would never be the same. While we held on to hope and with our strong faith we prayed for a better and different outcome, it was God's will that Chavo would go home with Him. However, before he would ride into Paradise with our Lord, Chavo was able to impact (4) four lives, four families by giving 4 different people a second chance at life through his heroic sacrifice of donation.

Now his wife and children will need all the help and support they can get to overcome the challenges they will face in life without their main provider.

The adjustment to this new life will take time and if we can help them make this transition a little less stressful I'm sure Chavo, Dali and their children will forever be grateful.

Con gran pesar, les pido que tengan en sus oraciones a mi hermanito, a mi primo, a su esposa y a sus cuatro hijos. La madrugada del 16 de mayo de 2025, Edilberto "Chavo" Sitiriche Aponte sufrió un grave accidente de motocicleta en el que sufrió un daño cerebral catastrófico e irrecuperable. Llevaba medio casco, pero la naturaleza del impacto fue tal que su calidad de vida nunca volvería a ser la misma. Mientras nos aferrábamos a la esperanza y con una fe firme orábamos por un desenlace mejor y diferente, era la voluntad de Dios que Chavo regresara a casa con Él. Sin embargo, antes de entrar al Paraíso con nuestro Señor, Chavo logró impactar cuatro vidas y cuatro familias al brindarles a cuatro personas diferentes una segunda oportunidad de vida mediante su heroico sacrificio de donación. Ahora, su esposa e hijos necesitarán toda la ayuda y el apoyo posibles para superar los desafíos que enfrentarán en la vida sin su principal sustento. Adaptarse a esta nueva vida llevará tiempo, y si podemos ayudarlos a que esta transición sea un poco menos estresante, estoy seguro de que Chavo, Dalí y sus hijos estarán eternamente agradecidos.
