On the evening of February 4, my kiddo, Charly / Chas was getting out of a car to meet up with friends. Out of nowhere he was struck from behind and ended up in the emergency room. He has a broken skull on the temporal bone and a concussion. His partner, Orion, witnessed the whole thing. Both of them are quite traumatized by the whole event.

While he is expected to make a full recovery, he will not be able to work for the next 10 days, and does not have PTO. He also does not have health insurance. We are setting up this go fund me to help with living expenses to cover lost wages while we figure out next steps.

Our Family would like to encourage everyone to please slow down, especially on residential streets in the dark winter hours.
