I am Charlotte's grandma. Our family has recently learned that our 7 year old princess is requiring open heart surgery to fix a hole in her heart. Surgery is in August 2024. Coming up way to soon to wrap our heads around it. Her hospital stay will be 5 to 7 days after surgery with a minimum recovery time of 8 weeks when she gets home.. The medical costs are covered but we have swiftly found that the travel, food and hotel room for the 5 to 7 days are beyond our reach . Once home from surgery, her mom won't be able to work due to constant care and monitoring of her little girl. This is hard to ask for help but it is genuinely needed and prayed for. Mom has 2 other children requiring care, which is where I fit in along with friends and family. If you can help in any way it is so greatly appreciated and is for travel/food/hotel while Charlotte is in the hospital and hopefully to keep mom on her feet for her daughters healing time.
