Support Charlie's Legacy: Help Feed the Hungry

Donation protected
I have partnered with Food City to create a fundraiser to donate 100% of the money raised to The Connection Center's Fig Tree program on behalf of my late son Charlie Schuster, who passed away tragically on January 3rd, 2025 in an automobile accident on Hardin Valley Rd.

Charlie was an employee at Food City as this was his first job. He started working there when he was 15. He was a hard worker and very reliable. He received a few raises in the short tenure he was with them as he continued to learn new skills and show his dedication.

Charlie was a very loving and giving person. He would give you the shirt off his back, literally. If he had something that you needed he would not hesitate to give it to you. Very selfless and thoughtful. One memory I have of Charlie is when he was ~10 years old we were walking downtown and passed a homeless man. Charlie went back to him and gave him $20- all of the money he had to his name.

I want to honor my son by carrying on the selfless acts that he displayed in his life and helping others that are in need. All of the money will be given to Food City to purchase the food and provide to The Connection Center's Fig Tree program that among other things provides meals to those in need.
