Greetings,
On 06/21/2025 Charlie Company 1-184 will be celebrating a 20 year reunion. The 1-184 served during the Iraqi war. The 1-184 was assigned to a sector along the Tigris River, tasked with providing security during the constitutional referendum and election of the Council of Representatives. They also provided security for Iraqi contractors and maintained patrols. The battalion suffered a high number of casualties, including 17 killed in action and nearly 100 wounded within 12 months. The battalion received two Iraq Campaign streamers with the inscriptions "IRAQI GOVERNANCE 2004–2005" and "NATIONAL RESOLUTION 2005–2007," as well as a Valorous Unit Award with the inscription "BAGHDAD 2005“. The unit also received a multitude of individual awards from the various soldiers for acts of valor and heroism.
“Charlie Rock” has decided to have a 20 year reunion for the individuals who served during that time to remember the sacrifices that were made during that deployment and celebrate the unbreakable bond that war veterans share with the men that they served with. We are asking for a small donation so the soldiers and their families can enjoy catered food for this event. Please help, donate and share.
The reunion will be held on June 21st 2025 at the Auburn veterans hall 100 east st Auburn California.
The following day there will a gathering at Sgt Arnold Duplantier’s grave site (a beloved member of Charlie rock who was KIA June 22nd 2005) located at MT Vernon memorial cemetery 8201 Greenback ln Fair oaks California.
