My name is Charlee. I am a 42 year old homeless female from Athens County Ohio. I have turned to every Government Program for help just to be denied. I asked about the program to get loan approval help & help build a house through the community action & was told I had to make $21k/yr to qualify. I can't work, I am disabled and live on $10,300 a year. I have tried to get SBL through local banks, online lenders & a Government Grant but there is a lot of paper work involved I don't comprehend with Government Grant & no room for mistakes. Have been turned down due to debt over income ratio & much fraud on my credit report. I've called the credit bureau & was given 2 choices by all 3 credit bureau companies, debt consolidation or write a letter to the companies I have deliquent accounts with. Well, writing a letter isn't going get me out of debt that I didn't have a hand in on making for myself. I looked into trying retain a free appointed council for identity theft so I can change my demographics & nope again. But only to be told they don't practice what I seek. Every door has been slammed in my face and I have moments that I just want to give up, & opt out but I live in my dreams just to escape my reality. Well I woke up & thought, "Y?" Why put myself thru the depression that it caused me & just go straight to source which is the people. No middle man, no taxes on peoples donations, less hassle in my hustle to start up what I am passionate about which is putting an end to homelessness here in Ohio. Ohio it is for now until I can make it big, if ever. My None Profit Organization is called,
"Raise A rooF". With goal amount set to raise at least $50K per year for 1 project per year sounds like a lot & a little all at the same time. For one, realistically, I probably won't make the $50k in one year because I am just starting out & not known yet for the projects in mind and for 2. I am a 1 man do it all in this project for now. Here is my grand plan: All proceeds go towards finding a feesable & affordable lot with utilities to move a newly purchased 12x24 finished shed on. Mist finished sheds consist of needing prior to setting up a gravel pad. Other factors such as utility installiments & drive way, & in all hopes I can find truly finished sheds at a decent price that have existing kitchens & bathrooms already. Then I factored in the total price for labor, permits, taxes, utility turn on fees, & hook up fees which fluctuates some depending on the land/lot location. Afterwards I find the perfect deserving candidate to gift the home to. Throughout the entire heartfelt process I will video tape the start to finish & download to my YouTube channel so the people who cared enough to read this & donate could watch what maricle they helped make happen. Being homeless will humble you.
I know that to be true. Thank you for reading my story & thank you for helping me in this movement to put an end to homelessness.
Sincerely Grateful,
Charlee Sikorski
