Support Charit Creek Lodge's Post-Tornado Rebuild

Hi! On May 26, a suspected tornado touched down at Charit Creek Lodge. If you've ever stayed at the backcountry lodge, you know just what a special place it is, mostly due to the efforts of the current concessionaire, Gregg White. The good news: none of the actual lodge structures were damaged and no one was injured. However, some of the crew quarters and most of his personally owned equipment used to maintain the lodge were completely demolished. Because Gregg owns the business that runs and manages the lodge, he is responsible for all of the losses for his personal property and loss of revenue during the closure. Gregg's business is uninsurable due to the remote area where he operates. The losses are totaling more than 50k, and on top of that, he had to cancel all reservations for at least 4 weeks while cleanup occurs. Gregg is in his 10th year of running the lodge and it is absolutely a labor of love. He lives "down on station" with a small crew much of the year, staying there to play host (and backcountry chef and housekeeper) to his guests. Please consider donating to the rebuild fund to help Gregg recoup some of his losses, financially survive this catastrophe and be able to welcome folks back to the lodge as soon as possible.
